Charter Award from Congress for the New Urbanism
The Congress for the New Urbanism recently honored Coral Gables town planning firm Dover, Kohl & Partners with a 2017 Charter Award for its work on Plan NoBe. Goodkin Consulting advised Dover Kohl on the City of Miami Beach’s master plan to revitalize the North Beach community by creating a town center, providing more mobility options, enhancing existing neighborhoods, better utilizing public lands and building for sustainability. -
Goodkin Advises on Sports Project
Goodkin Consulting recently completed an economic impact report for a South American developer planning an $85 million auto club and track in northwest Miami-Dade County. Other Goodkin sports-related engagements include studies for four MLB Spring Training facilities and a major land use study for “Historic Dodgertown,” the former Los Angeles Dodgers property in Vero Beach. -
Market Study Completed for Mississippi Development
Goodkin Consulting conducted a major market study for a new Town Center in Jackson, Mississippi, for the bank that foreclosed on the site. The study identified residential rental apartments, for-sale residential housing, senior housing and a retail and office development as projected uses for center.
